Job description:
We are looking for Reliable HGV Class 1 Container Drivers to join our clients based in Trafford park.
Responsibilities:
- Safe Driving HGV Trucks to transport goods to designated locations
- Following Saftey procedures when Loading and unloading cargo
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns before and after trips
- Maintain accurate driving logs and ensure compliance with road regulations
- Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries
- Adhere to delivery schedules and follow routes as planned
Requirements:
- Experience as a HGV Driver (6 Months HGV Licence & Driving Needed)
- Valid commercial driver's licence (CPC)
- Ability to drive HGV Trucks safely and efficiently
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
- Good physical condition to load and unload carg
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift - Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Experience:
- Driving: 6 months (required)
- Container Exp (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Driver CPC (preferred)
- HGV Class 1 - Min 6 Months HGV Licence + Driving Experience
