We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Trunker for our client based in Newton-le-Willows.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable driver who enjoys long-distance driving, night work and consistent Monday-to-Friday shifts.

The role involves long-distance trunking, completing a single drop and trailer swaps, making it ideal for drivers who prefer motorway miles over multiple deliveries and collections.

🚚 The Role

• Long-distance trunking for a client based in Newton-le-Willows.
  
  
• One drop with trailer swaps.
  
  
• Monday to Friday night shifts.
  
  
• Start times between 18:00 and 19:00.
  
  
• No multi-drop deliveries.
  
  
• No handball involved.
  
  
• Consistent, ongoing work for the right candidates.
  
  
• Ideal for drivers looking for regular hours and steady work.
  
  

💷 Pay Rates

• £18.00 per hour PAYE.
  
  
• £22.00 per hour Umbrella (UMB).
  
  

✅ Requirements

• Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
  
  
• No more than 6 penalty points.
  
  
• Ideally, a minimum of 6 months' Class 1 driving experience.
  
  
• No new passes will be considered.
  
  
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
  
  
• Ability to manage driving hours and plan routes effectively, particularly around night-time road closures.
  
  
• Reliable, professional and committed to ongoing work.
