HGV 1 Night Tramper Driver (Refrigerated)
An exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious clients based in Shifnal, Shropshire has become available for
HGV 1 Night Tramper drivers. This would be a great option for tramper drivers looking for the flexibility of not working full-time. Little but often work coming through covering various sickness and holiday periods. A good variation between week work and weekend work.
The role will entail and not limited to:
- Driving a category C+E vehicle with a refrigerated trailer on the back
- Chilled deliveries to Scotland and back
- Driving through the night, sleeping in the day.
- Very minimal handball
- Very rare sleeping with fridge running.
To be considered for this HGV 1 night driver role you will need:
- Category C+E entitlement (held for minimum 1 year)
- 6 Months experience driving C+E vehicle
- Valid Tacho and DQC cards
- Clean license (desirable)
- Friendly, professional and dedicated to great customer service
- An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work at a fast pace
- Experience tramping in the past, preferably refrigerated goods
Benefits: For the right HGV 1 night driver. PAYE Pay Rates are as follows:
- Weekdays - £15-£16 per hour dependant on experience
- Weekends - £19 per hour.
- Flat rate of £35 per night out allowance
- Ad-hoc and temporary bookings, covering holiday and sickness
