HGV 2 DRIVER Shropshire and Telford
Pertemps driving division are looking for HGV 2 drivers to join our team within the Shropshire and Telford region to cover weekly and last-minute bookings.
Whether you’re looking for ongoing HGV 2 work, or just AD-HOC work to fill up the gaps in your week please get in touch!
The role will entail and not limited to:
- Conducting daily/weekly pre-journey safety checks, ensuring the truck remains in a safe, roadworthy condition.
- Driving various heavy goods vehicles with a variety of trailers depending on the load.
- Internal and external deliveries, Depot to depot deliveries/collections.
- Handball can be involved.
- strapping loads
- Trunking work
- Trailer swapping
- Yard shunting/movements
To be considered for this HGV 2 driver role you will need:
- Category C license entitlement (MUST OF HELD FOR A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS)
- 6 Months experience driving C vehicle
- Valid Tacho and DQC cards
- Friendly, professional, and dedicated to great customer service
- An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work at a fast pace
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to support when needed
- PAYE Only
