ONGOING HGV Class 1 late morning Drivers needed based in Solihull area for a Global Logistics provider. 08:00-10:00 starts, Automotive deliveries to local manufacturing plants / warehouses. No handball involved. Overtime can be made available.
Information about the HGV Class 1 Driver role:
- Regular Monday to Friday work
- 5x 8-10 hour shifts
- Curtain sided trailers
- Factory / plant deliveries locally
- 40-50 hour average working weeks
- Overtime opportunities available
- Based near Junction 4 M42
- Regular work throughout 2022
HGV Class 1 Driver rates of pay & hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00, 09:00 & 10:00 starts
- £16.00 ph hours worked 06:00 - 18:00
- £18.00 ph hours worked 18:00 - 06:00
Requirements for the HGV Class 1 Driver role:
- Valid CE Licence held for at least 6 months
- Valid CPC & Digi tacho card
- Flexibility to undertake additional runs at the customer's request
- Flexibility to extend daily hours in the event of driver absence
- Commitment to an ongoing role
- To complete a practical driving assessment and SSOW induction
