Position Available: Delivery Driver & Paint Technician
Responsibilities:
Delivery Driver:
- Safely transport our high-quality products to customers with a smile using company vehicles.
- Efficiently manage delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals.
- Uphold our commitment to excellent customer service.
- Taking cash payments from customers.
- Updating customers with regards to estimated delivery times.
- Completing all necessary paperwork.
Paint technician:
- Learn the paint mixing system and procedures
- Showcase your artistic side by expertly mixing and matching paint colours to meet customer specifications.
- Problem solving with customers on the trade counter
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of paint mixes.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a well-organized and efficient paint-mixing station.
Trade Counter:
- Step up to the trade counter and engage customers with your friendly demeanour.
- Offer expert advice on paint selection, application techniques, and product knowledge.
- Process orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail in paint mixing and colour matching.
- Knowledge of the paint industry would be beneficial but not essential as on the job training can be provided.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Willingness to occasionally work on the trade counter and assist customers with their needs.
Delivery Driver & Paint Technician hours of work and rates of pay:
- 09:00 - 16:30
- 37.5 hours per week
- £10.42 per hour rising to £11.44 per hour as of 1st April 2024
- Temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate
