Transport Administrator – Temp to Perm
Location: Kings Norton, Birmingham
Shift: Mon to Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (salary review upon successful completion of probation)
Contract: Temp to Perm
Sector: Transport & Logistics
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Administrator to join a busy transport office based in Kings Norton (B30). This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term progression for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing administrative support within a transport office
• Organising and coordinating drivers
• Sending and receiving text messages to drivers
• Liaising with drivers and customers via telephone
• Updating internal systems and accurately recording notes
• General office duties including filing and administration
Skills & Experience Required:
• Previous experience working in a transport office is essential
• Confident using computers and multiple internal systems
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions
• Willingness to learn new operating systems and processes
• Full UK driving licence preferable but not essential
