HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver – Lutterworth
£18.50 to £24.66 hour based on Overtime premiums.

 

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an excellent opportunity for HGV Class 1 Night Drivers on behalf of one of the largest suppliers of office consumables nationally based in Lutterworth.


This is a role with regular shifts delivering doing depot to depot nights delivery on a regular Sunday to Thursday shift pattern. The work would include depot to depot night deliveries  


The Role:

• Night trunking work, depot to depot deliveries.
  
  
• Regular start times of 22:00hrs
  
  
• Regular shift pattern of Sunday to Thursday 
  
  
• Ensuring timely and professional deliveries to customers
  
  
• Completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle checks
  
  

 

Pay Rates:

• £18.50 per hour with an overtime premium of time plus one third for all hours after 9 hours per shift, this is paid at £24.66 per hour.
  
  

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence
  
  
• Valid CPC and Digi Card
  
  
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience required
  
  
• Previous depot to depot night trunking experience is preferred 
  
  
• Comfortable with paperwork which will be completed upon on arrival to the site on your first day.
  
  
• Good customer service skills and reliability
