Job Title: Class 2 Driver (Freight Forwarding)
Location: Loughborough
Position Type: Temp (4-week trial) – Potential Temp to Perm
Start Date: Monday – 5:00 AM
We are a recruitment agency currently seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client, a well-established freight forwarding company based in Loughborough.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for consistent work with the potential to secure a permanent role.
🚛 The Role

• Driving an 18-ton curtain-side vehicle
• Monday to Thursday stay-outs (stop-overs required)
• Returning Friday afternoon
• 5:00 AM starts
• Signing delivery paperwork
• Using CX app for job updates
• Operating a pump truck when required
• “Close and go” deliveries
• Handballing not normally required, but may be necessary in rare situations

💰 What’s Included

• Paid while on stay-outs
• Parking allowance provided
• £25 daily food allowance (if parking location does not provide meals)
• 4-week trial period with potential for temp-to-perm

✅ Requirements

• Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
• Maximum 3 points on licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tacho card
• Safety boots required
• DVLA check required
• Professional and reliable attitude
