7.5 Tonne Driver – Holiday Cover (Immediate Start) | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 tonne driver to provide holiday cover starting next week, with a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent position as part of our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating a 7.5 tonne curtain-sided vehicle
Safely securing loads and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
Carrying out thorough daily vehicle checks
Delivering goods efficiently while maintaining high safety standards

Requirements:

Proven experience with curtain-sided vehicles
Strong knowledge of load securing procedures
Physically fit and prepared for a hands-on role
A proactive, hardworking attitude (“hungry for work”)
Flexibility with working hours – early starts and late finishes are to be expected
Must be local to the area

Working Hours & Pay:

Average 50 hours per week (hours may vary depending on business needs)
Work is ad hoc, so flexibility is essential
£14.70 per hour
