Collections Driver (Afternoon Shift)

Royal Mail is looking for a reliable, motivated Collections Driver to join their dedicated team. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face of Royal Mail, collecting mail from post-boxes, customer sites and businesses, ensuring it reaches our sorting centres on time.


What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collecting mail from designated routes and priority locations.
• Maintaining accurate records of collection times.
• Ensuring all items are handled safely and securely.
• Providing excellent customer service when interacting with the public and business clients.
• Operating a Royal Mail vehicle responsibly and in line with all safety guidelines.

What We’re Looking For:

• A full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points).
• Confidence driving in various traffic and weather conditions.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliability and the ability to work independently.
• A clean DBS check.

 
 
Hours: 3:00pm – 9:00pm
Location: Burton on Trent
Hourly rate: £13.07
