Experienced Parcel Multi-drop C1/ 7.5 Tonne required for Parcelforce Rotherham, must have experience of working with another parcel provider with experience in 15- 20 drops & also collections

Pertemps Recruitment (Sheffield branch) are now looking to recruit X1 7.5 Tonne Collection & Delivery Drivers to work Monday to Friday out of the Parcelforce site in Rotherham, these roles will entail delivering & Collecting Parcels within designated areas/Postcodes planned out by a system called rex on a PDA scanner.
Site Location: Magna 34 Business Park, Sheffield Road, Rotherham, S60 1DX
Basic Pay Rate: 14.10 per hour Monday to Friday
As Delivery Drivers, we require the below
- Passing a driving assessment
- Delivering & Collecting parcels
- EXPERIENCE in 15-20 drops & collections
- Good Customer Service skills
- Good English speaking
- Perform appropriate vehicle checks prior to departure
- Be responsible for the vehicle as it was your own
- Apply all PPE and always follow safety systems
- Maximum of 5 Points & no major endorsements such as DR10, IN10, CU80, TT99….
- Shift Starts are varied
Delivery Drivers will need/receive the following:
- Qualified driver / driver checks completed
- Fully trained on collection activities
- Driver shadowing days
- Ability to use & understand PDA Technology
- Mail Security training
- All relevant H&S training
Immediate starts (In completion of clear Criminal background check CRB)
All shifts are planned 1 week in advance with start & Finish Times, but we may also need to call you last min or the day before if any extra bookings come on.

- Has a full CPC card & Digi card
- No Criminal records
- Passport in Date
- Full Uk Driving Licence with Current address on
- National Insurance document proof
- Fluent in English language & literature
- Experience in parcel delivery
- Must have lived in the Uk for the last 5 years
- 5 years of work history in the Uk.
