HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Days

Normanton | Potential Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

We are currently recruiting 2 x experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on behalf of our client based in Normanton.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position with a well-established transport operation.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: Monday 29th June

• End Date: Friday 28th August

• Potential temp-to-perm opportunity available

• Day shifts with typical start times of 05:00 or 06:00

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) deliveries and collections

• Curtainsider trailers (palletised goods, no handball)

• Trunking between depots, RDCs and client sites

• Monday to Friday work

• £17.25 per hour (PAYE)

• Weekly PAYE pay

Driver Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Minimum 1 year's Class 1 driving experience

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Maximum 6 penalty points

• No serious endorsements (including DD, DR, CD, IN or TT codes)

• Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations

• Professional and customer-focused attitude

The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious and confident completing deliveries and collections while representing both our agency and the client professionally.
