Location: Cambuslang
Pay Rate: £19.28 per hour (basic)
Contract: Temporary, ongoing
Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend working required

Pertemps are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR Driver on behalf of a leading provider of industrial, medical and speciality gases.

The Role
You will be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of gas cylinders to customers across the local area, completing approximately 15–20 deliveries per day.

Key duties include:

• Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment safety checks.
• Ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy, clean and well maintained.
• Safely loading, unloading and handling gas cylinders.
• If necessary, operating specialist BOC equipment, including forklifts or cranes where required.
• Following driving regulations and strict Health & Safety procedures.
• Providing a professional service to customers.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Category C (Class 2) licence with ADR entitlement.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Minimum 2 years' relevant driving experience (insurance requirement).
• Good knowledge of safe driving practices and driver regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
