HGV Class 1 / C+E Driver

Are you an experienced HGV driver looking for regular, reliable work? Pertemps have multiple openings for Class 1 C+E drivers with our client, GXO, in Newark. You will be required to work night shifts and will be required to transport electrical goods to Curry’s stores or warehouses/RDCs (pm shifts). While delivering at a store you will not have to tip the load yourself but may be required to move the stock with a pump truck to allow for it to be unloaded.
Before you start, you'll need to pass a Class 1 site assessment / induction, this is paid on completion and will take 8 hrs and includes:
- Multiple choice questionnaire surrounding WTD and general knowledge.
- Pre checks / Coupling up
- Driving assessment on the road
- Site induction (Classroom based)

Requirements:
- Experience: Category C+E (HGV 1) license
- Certification: Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification.
- Clean Record: No DR10, CD10, IN10, no more than 6 points on your license.
- Aged 21 or above.
