Pertemps is proud to be working in partnership with Royal Mail, one of the UK's most recognisable and trusted delivery networks, and we're recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for flexible, part-time agency work in Plymouth.

This is agency work, offering temporary ongoing assignments with regular, year-round shifts - ideal if you want choice, flexibility, and strong hourly rates without committing to a permanent contract.

The Role

• Simple trunking work only - no multi-drop
• Moving mail and parcels between Royal Mail depots nationwide
• Minimal manual handling
• Operating Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally
• Clean, modern, well-maintained vehicles
• Following drivers' hours and WTD regulations
• Completing digital tachograph entries accurately
• Shifts planned one week in advance
• Representing Royal Mail with pride and professionalism

What we need from you:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for a minimum of 2 years
• Minimum 180 days' proven commercial driving experience for insurance purposes
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are essential
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN/CD/TT endorsements accepted)
• Strong geographical knowledge & a professional attitude
• Willingness to complete a DBS security check
• Successful completion of site assessment & induction before starting
