We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join their operation in Hartlepool.

The Role: As an HGV Class 1 C+E Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of products on behalf of our client and their customers.

Your duties will include:

• Completing deliveries and collections to customer premises and other company locations.
• Carrying out general HGV driving duties in accordance with current legislation and best practice.
• Using electronic proof of delivery (POD) systems and other transport technology.
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of the vehicle where required.
• Maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service.
• Complying with drivers' hours and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.
  
  

Training will be provided on the company's systems and technology.

To be considered for this HGV Class 1 Driver position, you will need:

• A full UK C+E licence.
• Held Class 1 licence for at least 1 year.
• Excellent driving skills and a professional approach.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• No previous disqualifications, including DD, TT, DR, CD or IN offences.
• The right to work in the UK.
• A good understanding of drivers' hours and WTD regulations.
