Delivery Driver - Van

Van Driver required for full time, ongoing work from a depot based in Central Bristol – BS2
- Monday – Friday, 6am – 3pm
- 1 hour break for lunch
- Start ASAP
- Salary £20,800 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience
About the job
- Delivering / Collecting glass in the Southwest – Bristol, Bath, Dorchester, Salisbury and South Wales
- Predominantly commercial customers with the occasional domestic customer
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
- Report any mechanical problems with vehicles
- Obtain relevant signatures for goods when you deliver
- Present receipts and collect payments for goods delivered or loaded
- Complete logs and reports in accordance with Department Of Transport regulations and safety standards
The right candidate
- Full UK manual driving licence
- No more than 6 points - No DD, DR or IN endorsements for insurance purposes
- Comfortable with heavy lifting, up to 25 kg
- Previous experience as a van driver / multi drop driver
- Excellent customer service skills
