Pertemps are looking for Class 2 drivers to join our team, working for our client based out of their Banbury depot. IMMEDIATE START available for the successful candidate who is able to demonstrate a high level of driving competence, with a flexible approach and good understanding of driver hours and regulations. This roll will involve the delivery and collection of products on trollies, therefore candidates will need to be physically fit.
Successful candidates will report to the Transport team, as part of your duties you will be expected to:
" Adhere to company procedures and regulations
" Manage your own working time, while adhering to tachograph rules and regulations
" Carry out daily vehicle checks
" Carry out customer deliveries in a safe and timely manner
" Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance
" Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role
" Be IT competent
" Carry out any other duties within their skill base
To be a successful HGV 2 Driver, LGV 2, Cat C, Class 2 Driver, you will have the following skills and experiences:
" Must hold an HGV 2 UK driving licence
" Have a maximum of 6 points for minor offences, no DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposes
" Hold a valid CPC DQC
" Have excellent knowledge of driver hours and regulations
" Experience is not essential
" Drivers will be required to work 4 out of 7, rotating AM to PM each week.
" Competitive Rates of pay
" Guarantee of a minimum of 8 hours per shift
" 28 days paid Annual Leave, pro-rata for PAYE workers
