We are currently recruiting X 3 Postal Delivery Workers for an immediate start, to work on a part-time temporary assignment, supporting Royal Mail at their Brackley Delivery Office. This post will be working approximately 5hr shifts, 5 days per week, working a Monday to Saturday shift pattern with a rest day during the week.
You will be responsible for the delivery/collections of post and parcels to residential and commercial properties quickly and efficiently, by driving and/or walking on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service. Other duties will also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office, so candidates must be flexible.
The role is working 5 shifts per week, Monday to Saturday with a rest day during the week, between the hours of 8am to 7pm.
Successful candidates will need to pass a security vetting process and have the following skills and experience:
" Hold a valid UK Driving Licence - with no more than 6 points for minor offences, No DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposes (must be registered to the candidates current address)
" Demonstrate excellent customers service and communication skills
" Upbeat and self-motivated
" Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather
" Good levels of fitness to meet demands of the role
" Excellent organisation skills
" Resilience and flexibility
" Have the ability to work quickly and efficiently whilst adhering to company procedures and regulations
" Have good knowledge of the Brackley area and surrounding villages
" Previous delivery experience would be an advantage
" Previous Van Driving experience would be an advantage
The successful candidate will be provided with PPE. Induction, training and working will all be in a socially distanced safe environment.
