Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
Job Type: Temporary Ongoing (Potential Temp-to-Perm)

Pertemps Banbury is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (CE) Tramper Driver on behalf of our Banbury-based client.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for ongoing work, with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role

This is a tramping role, spending up to one week away at a time. You will be:

• Collecting trailers from the dockyards in Portsmouth or Dover
  
  
• Delivering general haulage across the UK
  
  
• Covering routes from the South of England through to Liverpool and Leeds
  
  
• Providing a professional and reliable service while ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
  
  

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A minimum of 2 years' Class 1 (Category CE) driving experience within the UK
  
  
• A valid UK Category CE driving licence
  
  
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
  
  
• A valid Digital Tachograph (Digicard)
  
  
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences only
  
  
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent knowledge of UK driving regulations
