Tech Sales Executive

As an account executive, you'll act as an important link between the company and its customer base. In this role you'll be striving to understand the customer's needs and play a pivotal role in achieving the sales targets & overall company objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities
Process and acknowledge customer sales orders by telephone, email and check that they include correct prices, discounts and product numbers
Take ownership & deliver a service which exceeds customer expectations
Identify & implement solutions to resolve any issues that may result in a dissatisfied customer base
Ensure compliance with Quality procedures
Proactively monitor customer accounts to advise of problems with delivery/order commitments
Take the appropriate action for unresolved customer issues and feedback to improve customer satisfaction
Highlight areas of process of non-compliances so training needs can be identified
Track & analyse customer consumption including turnover & profitability
Produce customer pricelists based on review of volume/GP
Provide customers with quotations based on review of volume/GP
Build, maintain & develop strong long lasting relationships with customers
Gain a clear understanding of customer's business & requirements
Present weekly/monthly Sales Reports to management team
Identify market shifts & be fully aware of new product & competition status
Provider aftersales support to customer base
Communicating with internal divisions to ensure customer requirements are being met
Visit customers as & when required
Update Transport sheets with run details so Despatch can arrange deliveries into correct customer order
Represent your organisation at trade exhibitions, events & demonstrations
Experience in achieving & exceeding targets & KPIs

Reports To
General Manager

A Level or Above
Sales Experience

Proven track record in sales
Hands on experience with customer service
Understanding of sales performance metrics/KPI's

Skills & Abilities
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Customer focussed approach
Clear and confident telephone manner
Working knowledge of SAP
Demonstrate excellent problem analysis and problem solving skills
