HGV 1 Driver - Warrington

Pertemps are looking for an experienced HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 Driver / C+E Driver to join our client’s busy depot based in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, regular work all year round, with competitive PAYE rates.

Regular block bookings available with immediate assessments!

Location: Warrington 
Pay rates: From £21.44 to £24.57 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: 10 – 12-hour duties 
Job Type: Regular, Ongoing 

Your new HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 Driver / C+E Driver role will include:

• Safely loading and unloading cages of letters and parcels
• Working with both single and double-deck trailers, with some pushing and pulling involved
• Average 10 - 12hour shifts
• Various start times as this is a 24-hour operation 
• Weekend work is also required for this role
  
  

What we’re looking for in a HGV Driver / LGV1 Driver / Class 1 Driver / C+E Driver:

• Minimum 1 years’ HGV Class 1 driving experience, with recent Class 1 work within the last 6 months
• A valid C+E licence, CPC card, and digital tachograph card
• A maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
