Pertemps are currently hiring HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team based in Hatfield.
What you will be doing -
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
Shifts available: Monday to Friday with weekend work available as well
Start times: Start times a various.
This role is a mix of store deliveries in central London, Trunking to depots.
Manual handling is required for this role.
Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
What you will need -
You will Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card with a minimum of 6 months driving experience.
Complete a driver assessment and two-day induction.
What you can expect -
Pay Rate: £20.66p/h - OT: £27.89 (paid after 46.25 worked)
Hours: 46.25 hours per week
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday OR Thursday - Monday OR Friday - Tuesday
