Van Driver

🚐 Van Driver needed in Newent, paying £13.25 per hour, working Monday to Friday ,full time work, early starts and overtime available after 45hours. Heavy lifting is required for this role. Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for experienced Van Drivers to join a leading logistics company based in Newent. This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent full-time or ad-hoc work with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. This role will include early starts and manual handling will be required.

⭐ The Role 
Multi drop 5-10 per day, depending on the route 
Typical shifts are 8-10+ hours per day 
Unloading and loading of good from vehicle to delivery
Completing delivery paperwork
Start times from 3am onwards
Heavy lifting required

🚚 What We're Looking For
Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points 
Reliable, punctual and customer-focused attitude 
Comfortable working independently and managing delivery routes 
Knowledge of Gloucester road networks is advantageous 
Ability to follow strict processes, procedures and regulations
