Pertemps Gloucester are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client in Gloucester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established operation delivering paint and decorating products to commercial and retail outlets across the region.

Working on a major paint distribution contract, you'll be delivering to customers including paint merchants, trade outlets, DIY stores, and retailers.

This is an ongoing role with a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for the right driver.

The Role

• Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
• Starting at approximately 07:00 Monday to Friday
• Multi-drop deliveries to trade and retail customers
• Delivering paint and decorating products across the region
• Using a tail lift and pallet truck to safely unload deliveries
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and maintaining vehicle standards

What We're Looking For

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 9 points for minor offences
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable with manual handling duties
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
