Pertemps are recruiting for Van Driver/ Warehouse operative to start work on behalf of a Pipework Supply company in Basingstoke. This is a temporary to permanent contract you will temp for 12 weeks then be offered a permanent contact performance dependant.
More about the role:
- £14.39 an hour
- 08:00 – 17:00 Shift times
- £21.59 hourly rate after 40 hours and on weekends
- 5 shifts a week Monday to Friday
- Multi drops - Delivering to sites in London and South of England
- Supporting the warehouse team on occasionally basis when needed
Duties of a Van Driver:
- Cutting pipes to size (full training to be given)
- Picking and Packing orders to go to dispatch
- Building good relationships with customers upon delivery
- Ensuring safety of vehicle
- Ensuring you stick to the pre-planned routes given to you when you start shift
Requirements for this Van Driver Role:
- - Full UK relevant driving licence (No more than 6 points)
- - Previous experience driving in London is required
- - Heavy lifting required
