Vehicle Service Co-ordinator

HGV YARD SHUNTER - DAYS & NIGHTS AVAILABLE - ONGOING (T2P) - IMMEDIATE START

Our client based in Milton Keynes currently has a vacancy for Yard Shunters.
- Hours: 2100 - 0900 (nights) / 0900 - 2100 (days)
- Shift: 4 on, 4 off
- Rate: £12.71 ph (days) / £13.93ph (nights)
As a Yard Shunter your main duties will be to ensure smooth running of the yard, taking a very hands on approach and able to adapt to a multitude of requirements as and when required. You will use your own initiative and identify tasks an duties to be completed throughout your work day.
Duties include:
- Moving vehicles of all categories around the yard.
- Offloading empty trays from vehicles.
- Washing vehicles
- Fuelling vehicles.
- Ensuring the yard remains clean, tidy and operational at all times.
- Vehicle checks.
Successful Applicants
- Successful applicants will have previous driving experience.
- Ideally you will hold a HGV License or previous shunting experience, however this is not essential as in house training can be provided.
- You will be physically fit, due to the nature of the role a lot of walking is involved.
