3.5t Night Van Driver Required in Redditch - £12.50 per hour (PAYE)
We are seeking a reliable 3.5t Night Van Driver for a key role in Redditch, delivering food products to a high-end food retailer. This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday, with 1700 starts until the route is completed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 3.5t van to deliver food products to various locations.
- Make up to 10 drops per night to a prestigious food retailer.
- Deliver goods accurately and on time, adhering to company standards.
- Follow established routes and delivery schedules-your route will remain consistent each night, providing a familiar and structured working pattern.
- Ensure all products are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service while interacting with store personnel.
- Complete required paperwork and maintain delivery records.
Requirements: To be successful and meet insurance requirements, you must have the following:
- A full, valid Category B driving licence.
- Good customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- No more than 6 points on your licence (for minor offences only).
- A good level of fitness, as some manual handling may be involved.
- Prior experience in delivery driving, particularly in multi-drop roles, is preferred.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
