Class 1 HGV Driver – Trunking

Location: Kidderminster
Pay: £17.08 per hour, up to £25.62 per hour PAYE
Hours: Full-time, temporary ongoing
Start times: 06:00 or 11:00
Shift length: Approximately 10–12 hours

We are recruiting an experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for ongoing, full-time work with our established client in Kidderminster.

This is straightforward RDC-to-RDC trunking, delivering pharmaceutical products in refrigerated vehicles. There is no handball, making it an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for clean, consistent and well-paid trunking work.

Pay rates

• £17.08 per hour PAYE
• After 12 weeks: £25.62 per hour for hours worked over 42.5 per week
• Bank holidays during the first 12 weeks: £18.72 per hour
• Bank holidays after 12 weeks: £25.62 per hour

The role

• RDC-to-RDC pharmaceutical deliveries
• Refrigerated Class 1 vehicles
• No handball
• Regular 06:00 or 11:00 start times
• Shifts averaging 10–12 hours
• Some trailer uncoupling and curtainside operation may be required
• Temporary ongoing work with full-time hours available

Driver requirements

• To be considered, you must:
• Hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Have at least two years of Class 1 driving experience
• Have previous experience driving refrigerated vehicles
• Be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes
• Have fewer than six points on your licence
• Have no driving endorsements
• Hold valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• Be reliable, professional and able to commit to ongoing work
