Join Our Team!Are you passionate about creating a welcoming community and making a real difference to students' university experience? We're looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and proactive Resident Ambassadors to join our team in Manchester Central.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop valuable communication, leadership and event management skills while helping students feel supported, connected and at home throughout the academic year.

What You'll Be DoingAs a Resident Ambassador, you'll play a key role in building a vibrant student community by:

• Creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where every resident feels they belong.
  
  
• Supporting new residents during their first six weeks by helping them settle into university life, navigate the city, develop life skills and build friendships.
  
  
• Planning, promoting and delivering engaging events throughout the academic year, including wellbeing activities, sustainability initiatives, cultural celebrations and social events.
  
  
• Acting as the voice of the student community by sharing feedback and helping to improve the resident experience.
  
  
• Working closely with the Student Experience Team Leader to complete your Resident Ambassador development programme and attend regular performance reviews.
  
  
• Attending paid training sessions, including summer training and orientation before the arrival of new residents.
  
  
• Promoting student wellbeing by understanding relevant policies and escalating any welfare or safety concerns when required.
  
  
• Collaborating with Resident Ambassadors across the city and nationally to share ideas, contribute feedback and support the wider programme.
  
  
• Helping recruit and mentor future Resident Ambassadors, leaving a lasting impact on the student community.
