Inbound Logistics tracker required for Solihull!
With an attractive rate of pay of £13.00 per hour for Night shifts, start times between 17:00-22:00. This contract offers working in modern offices, free parking in a rapidly growing team.
An exciting opportunity as an Inbound Logistics tracker to join our client on a temporary ongoing basis. Tracking, Monitoring, scheduling international deliveries & collections, problem solving / communicating delays using SAP
Successful candidate will have experience in a logistics and supply chain or automotive environment and be able to demonstrate a track record or providing solutions and strategic problem solving in a fast paced environment.
General Duties of the Inbound Logistics tracker:
- Tracking incoming deliveries
- Managing time schedules and dealing with any delays
- Communicating delays through SAP
- Updating system software with reasons for early / late arrivals
- Report writing
- Working closely with other areas of the planning team to minimise impact of any lateness
- Active leadership and responsible Health & Safety
- To undertake any other reasonable tasks as detailed by the Management Team
- To understand the implications of operating within a time sensitive environment
- Focus on service levels
- Operational Documentation, compliance with escalation process
- Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Skills / Experience required:
- Experience with SAP (Or similar warehouse software system experience)
- MS Office Literate - Essential
- Proven experience within Logistics industry / supply chain environment
- Proven track record of strategic thinking
- Excellent communication skillss
