We are currently seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer/Setters to join a well-established engineering business with a strong reputation in precision manufacturing. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced and proactive machinists who take pride in producing high-quality work on large-scale components
The Role
" Programming and setting Heidenheim CNC machines
" Working from technical drawings to produce precise components
" Manufacturing large castings - some weighing up to 5 tonnes
" Producing a range of fabrications to customer specifications
" Maintaining high quality and safety standards at all times
Requirements
" Proven CNC programming and setting skills
" Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings
" Self-sufficient and proactive in your work
" Mature approach with a stable employment history (no job hopping)
" Industry experience in heavy engineering, big fabrications, or large castings
Shifts & Benefits
" 6am - 4pm Mon-Wed, 6am - 3pm Thurs
" Overtime: Available on Fridays at time and a half
" 4-day week for a great work/life balance
" Will be required to carry out the occasional late shift
