An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Care Assistant to join an established company located in Wrexham city centre.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and approachable demeanour, stay calm under pressure, multitask, and have a passion for helping others.
As a Customer Care Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive prompt, courteous, and effective assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email and in some cases face to face, providing accurate information and solutions.
- Resolve customer requests and issues efficiently, and ensuring relevant line managers / team members are kept informed
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services to assist customers effectively.
- Liaising with the sales team and engineers to assist customers with any on-site issues, maintenance, and new installation requirements/requests in a timely manner.
- Accurate input of customer orders via our CRM system.
- Assist customers with order placement, tracking, and modifications.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions, feedback, and complaints via a CRM system
- Conduct follow-up communications to ensure customer issues are resolved and satisfaction is achieved.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to improve customer service skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- GCSEs or equivalent. A-levels or equivalent qualifications are a plus but not essential
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer service software.
