An exciting opportunity has arisen for an On-Site Recruitment Consultant to join our existing team based in the Severn Beach area of Bristol.
The role is to support with the on-site operation within our client's site. The client is part of an established National contract, providing skilled and experienced LGV Class 1, 2, 7.5 tonne and van drivers to meet the fluctuating needs of their business.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to liaise at all levels, possess excellent customer service skills and put the client's needs first. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to retain good relations with the client and a large temporary work force.
You will be able to show empathy to certain situations whilst retaining a professional and compliant approach to your workforce.

As an On-Site Recruitment Consultant, your duties will include:

Resourcing and interviewing candidates.
Obtaining references and new starter information.
Apply and monitor security vetting applications for you candidates.
Organising inductions and driving assessments of new employees.
Daily planning / Weekly planning / Infringement management / Counselling drivers.
Processing payroll via the system of choice.
Reporting directly to the Contract Manager

An ideal On-Site Recruitment Coordinator will hold the following skills:

Previous experience within a high volume driving contract.
Good knowledge of Drivers hours, WTD and categories of vehicles.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent Customer service skills.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent organisation and planning skills.
Excellent IT skills (inc. Microsoft Excel & Word)
Ability to Liaise at all levels.
Full Driving Licence.

The environment is fast paced and the successful candidate will need to be flexible in their working hours.
General working hours will be Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30 with some flexibility required on start and finish times. There will be an expectation to deal with issues over a weekend or evening in busy periods.
