Pertemps Didcot are recruiting for a Van Driver for a company based near Thame.
Our client is looking for a reliable and hard-working individual to join their expanding team on a permanent basis.
Van Driver Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver products to a range of local customers using a flatbed 3.5t van
- Carry out deliveries and collections across neighbouring branches
- Act as yard operative when not carrying out deliveries
- Liaise with transport department to ensure goods can be collected/delivered within quoted timescales
The successful Van Driver will:
- Have a DVLA issued driving licence for a manual vehicle
- Be a confident and safe driver
- Have good customer service skills - You are the face of the company when delivering to customers
- Be a self-motivated individual
- Be well organised with good attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be a confident and approachable individual
- Have experience in a similar role
