HGV Class 1 Driver
Salary: £15.00PH - £17.00PH
Employment Type: Temporary/Permanent
Our prestigious client is looking for a HGV1 / C+E/ Class 1 Drivers to work at their site in South Staffordshire, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Safely operating the HGV Class 1 vehicle in compliance with road traffic regulations.
- Loading and unloading goods as required, ensuring they are secure and handled with care.
- Planning delivery schedules and routes for optimal efficiency.
- Completing required paperwork, including delivery notes and logbooks.
- Maintaining communication with the transport office regarding any delays, issues or emergencies.
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery points.
To be considered for this HGV1/C+E/Class 1 driver role you will need:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C) driving license.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Digital tachograph card.
- Ideally minimum 2 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of road traffic laws and regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
