Ensure Appropriate Planning, forecasting and resource processing and systems are in place to enable the effectiveness of capacity
Formulate and Continually evolving all planning and forecasting, with a strong focus on customer service levels, productivity and efficiency.
Ensure future activity is planned in advance using the agreed strategic approach, balancing Customer and Volume demand.
Responsible for all bulk tankers into Brough to meet business requirements
Responsible for all packed products leaving Brough to meet customer requirements
To work closely with Production Manager to produce and update a production plan
Ensure service performance for all customer contracts
Process sales enquiries through to delivery
Liaise with trading partners
Ensure minimum stock requirements in line with business requirements
Set stock parameters
Carry out physical stock control
Maintain stock rotation (FIFO) - co-operate with Production Manager
Raise purchase and sales contracts & call offs
Check and sign contracts issued by CS Team
Raise sales invoices
Complete End of Month tasks
Validate purchase invoices and resolve disputes
Appoint and instruct supply chain contractors, in line with BRC requirements and
Co-operation with the Technical Dept.
Maintain contract and stock records
Maintain and review distribution cost records
Generate contract cost analyses
Help manage customer complaints in co-operation with technical department
Process sample requests and maintain records
Apply company credit control policy
Assist Accounts department where required
Carry out other functions as requested by management
Operate within the Company BRC quality system
Required skills of a Resource Planning Analyst:
Strong analytical skills with ability to use analytical techniques
Demonstrably successful experience of forecast planning to high volumes
Problem solver who can has the ability think fast, spot trends, generate new ideas and to deliver to tight deadlines.
Experienced in using Sage 200 Systems
Excel - Advanced level
Team player, who works with others to accomplish objectives and deliver a positive result while developing and maintaining open, honest and constructive relationships.
