Class 2 Driver – Permanent Role (Multidrop with Overnight Stays)

£30,043 per annum + £25.50 per night (overnight allowance)
Start times typically from 4am | Overnight stays required
We’re seeking a Class 2 Driver to join a long-established distribution business based in Basildon on a permanent contract.
Start times are typically 4:00am. Following an overnight stay, the next shift must not begin before 6:00am unless specifically authorised

Key Details:
- Nationwide multidrop deliveries and collections
- All trucks fitted with sleeper cabs and tail lifts
- Overnight rest taken at designated truck parks
- Expense forms must be completed with valid receipts
- Start times: 4am day one / 6am minimum post-overnight
What You’ll Need:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- 2 years’ Driving experience
- Previous multidrop experience preferred
- Flexibility to stay away overnight as standard
- International driving experience (beneficial but not essential)
- Strong reliability, professionalism, and understanding of driver compliance
