HGV / LGV Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting for an HGV / LGV Class 2 driver based in Rugby. Our client is a well-established builder's merchants, and they would like to take on the successful Class 2 driver on a full time permeant basis.

HGV / LGV Class 2 Salary:
£31,200 + potential of monthly bonuses

Hours of work:

- Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm
- Alternate Saturdays 8.00am to 12 noon

Requirements for HGV / LGV Class 2 driver:

- HGV / LGV Class 2 Licence
- Full CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card

Key responsibilities for HGV / LGV Class 2 driver:

- Supervise the loading of the vehicle
- Ensure that the load is correct against the customers' orders
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner
- Maintain the cleanliness of the driving cab and vehicle
- Complete vehicle daily inspection sheet and give to the Branch Manager
- Be aware of the vehicle inspection rota for servicing and MOT
- Be willing to undertake further training
- Support in the yard if necessary
